On March 12, 2014, Donghai Airlines’ inaugural scheduled passenger service from Shenzhen to Ningbo and Dalian marked the official opening of air passenger trips.  on December 31, 2015, according to the strategic development needs of the company, Donghai Airlines ceased all freight operations and entered the era of main passenger transportation. At the end of 2016, Donghai Airlines successfully applied for an increase in the scope of international passenger transportation and commenced international operations.
