The air-company “Somon Air” is the first private airline company in Tajikistan. The airline started first operating on February 5, 2008 with regular flights to Moscow (The Russian Federation) and further to Dubai (The United Arab Emirates).
Our mission is to become a leader in the local and regional market for air transportation The air-company provides its services in accordance with the international air transportation standards. The airline’s task is to constantly improve the quality of offered services, as well as, increase the level of flight safety and reliability. Our vision – to become an airline with: • permanent growth trend • no accidents • highest level of service • affordable market prices (ticket prices) • convenient ticket sales and distribution systems Somon Air staff is the main guarantee for safety of passenger and cargo air carriage and the quality of services offered. Currently, there are more than 180 employed with the company. The company's flight crew members, including pilots and attendants have a great deal of job experience - they are trained and certified by the European pilot training centers - which assures high level of job productivity. And flight crew members continuously improve their job qualifications, and thus provide the best passenger service that meets the international standards. The company’s current staff of technicians and engineers work together with the company the Turkish Technik on maintenance of aircrafts.
